Sales Executive
Based in Randburg, Johannesburg
This challenging position requires a self-starter with phenomenal presentation and relationship building skills. Award-winning brand, Entrepreneur, is expanding. We require a sales candidate to round off our growing sales team.
The Position
The Sales Executive is required to secure print (magazine) and digital (website) advertising for Entrepreneur and BeYourOwnBoss Brands. A proven sales track record is mandatory; however prior experience in the media/publishing industry is not required (in depth, in house training is provided).
Basic Salary
We are offering a CTC of up to R20k based on experience (and relative to current basic). Benefits such as car allowance, medical aid and retirement are included in the package.
Exceptional Commission Structure
Hard work is rewarded with exceptional monthly, quarterly and annual commissions (of the best in the print & digital media industry).
Candidate Requirements
- 5 years experience in sales
- Proven track record of outstanding results
- Well spoken with excellent telephone skills
- Exceptional negotiation & presentation skills
- Own transport and cell phone

Heavyweight Print Designer
Based in Randburg, Johannesburg
The EMTS Group is expanding and requires a creative, ‘hotshot’ designer to join the team. The position is Group Senior Designer for Entrepreneur Media SA (publisher of Entrepreneur magazine, winner of seven major awards), ThinkSales Corporation (host of the leading Annual Sales Leadership Conference) and SmartCompany Networks (profiling & business services launching in August 2011).
The Position
Join a team of talented designers and play a key role in magazine design (Entrepreneur, BeYourOwnBoss & ThinkSales), in-house product brochures and media kit layout and design.
Package
Basic Remuneration per Month: (Indicated as Cost to Company)
Salary: R24 000, including medical aid contribution, life cover and income protector.
Although the offer is R24k CTC, good motivation for a higher package will be considered relative to current earnings & experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant tertiary education in graphic design
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in magazine design
- Good knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Freehand
- Experience in Dreamweaver and Flash an advantage
- Ability to provide creative input to product improvement
- Outstanding portfolio in print (mandatory) and digital (optional) publishing
- Contactable references
- Own transport and cell phone
