The SelfManagement Group is managed by founder and chairman, John Marshall and managing partner, Bob McHardy.
John Marshall has a doctorate in Psychology from York University, where he also worked as an assistant professor. John’s doctoral thesis was on the effects and influences of competitive environments – of which he has first hand knowledge from his background as a hockey player in Philadelphia and while coaching hockey at York University and in Italy. He is a well recognised and sought after author, key note speaker, coach, organisational psychologist and innovative thought leader. Over a 25 year period, he has helped hundreds of organisations develop into self-managed high performance cultures.
Bob McHardy is a recognised thought leader, engaging key note presenter, accomplished author, management trainer, sales trainer and performance consultant. He has first hand understanding of the critical elements of performance that lead to personal and professional results. Bob knows the world of sales, sales management, and performance coaching, having spent 20 years running a successful high-performance sales culture. Since 1990, Bob has built the training division of Self Management Group, PLUS Corporation.
